Here is an easy recipe for EVERYONE to make.
You will need:
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 2 tbsps of saffron water
- 2 whole eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup crushed pistachio
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Transfer saffron water, vegetable oil, and sugar in a bowl and mix well until all the sugar is dissolved. Add in the eggs and mix.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt and sift them together once. Slowly add the dry ingredients to your batter and mix.
Add lemon juice and pistachio to them mix.
Preheat oven to 356 F. Cover your tray with baking sheet and put a full spoon of dough on the tray. Decorate the top with pistachio and leave it in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the top is golden.
